Finnish-Japanese Workshop on Ubiquitous Computing and Urban Lives (FJWUU 2009)
- March 11, 2009
- 08:00 - 15:00, University of Oulu
- 15:00 - 22:00, Tokyo Denki University
(Other optional connecting points are welcome. At most, we will have four distributed sites.)
Organized by University of Oulu (Ubilife) and OSOITE, JST CREST in Cooperation with Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation, Tekes
Scope of the workshop
Our workshop will focus on data-driven and data-centric aspects of networked sensing systems rather than sensor devices and hardware architecture for networked sensing systems. Original papers on database and network technologies for spatial and temporal information (e.g. sensor data, stream data, time-series data, geographic information and web information) are welcome. Based on our experience on ubiquitous and urban computing in the past several years, we will explore a new direction of research common to both countries.
